This policy covers the KaStride Android app, package com.kastride.mobile, operated by Ahmed Yasser (KaStride). Contact: kastride136@gmail.com.
KaStride connects to compatible Bluetooth LE training devices to record exercise repetitions, training time, and workout history. A compatible physical device is needed for live training. The current Android release does not collect heart-rate or blood-oxygen readings and does not connect to Health Connect.
Nearby-device permissions enable Bluetooth discovery and connection. Android 11 and earlier can require location permission for Bluetooth scanning; KaStride does not use this permission to obtain or upload your geographic position. Device connection settings, preferences, and cached training records are stored locally on your phone. Notification permission controls whether notifications can be displayed.
We use account data to create and manage your account; exercise records to provide training history, profiles, statistics, and synchronization; service identifiers to operate notifications and backend services; and support messages to respond to requests. We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or include advertising in the current release.
We use Google Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Messaging to process account, database, and notification data on our behalf. See Firebase privacy information. Service providers may process data outside your country. We may disclose information when legally required. When you explicitly share training information using your phone's share menu, the recipient and service you choose receive that information under their own policies.
Account and synchronized training data are stored using Firebase. Network communication with Firebase is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We retain account and training records while needed to provide your account and history, until you delete records or request account deletion. Service-provider operational and security logs follow the provider's applicable retention practices.
You can initiate account deletion from the app's Support > Delete account option. You can also request deletion without installing or opening the app using our account deletion page. That page explains how to request removal of your account, associated profiles, workout history, and statistics by contacting kastride136@gmail.com.
Uninstalling the app removes local app data but does not by itself delete your cloud account. We verify requests to protect account ownership. Any information that must be retained for a legal obligation will be explained in our response.
You can update account details through the app, delete individual training sessions, manage Bluetooth and notification permissions in Android settings, or contact us to request access, correction, or deletion. Contact us from your registered email when making an account-related request. Never send us your password.
KaStride is intended for users aged 13 and above. It is not intended for children under 13. If you believe an account belongs to a child under 13, contact us so we can investigate and remove the account and associated data as appropriate.
Updates to this policy will be posted here with an updated date. For privacy questions or requests, email kastride136@gmail.com.
